Representative of the of Public Health and Reforms the Center of the Ministry of Health attends international conference in Kazakhstan

Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan hosted on April 19-20, 2024 the international conference on “Health Technology Assessment (HTA) as a tool to determine priorities for healthcare development and funding”.

The conference aimed to enhance the efficiency of regional health systems by promoting the implementation of the best practices in decision-making and resource allocation and to strengthen the modern diagnostic systems. Healthcare representatives from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, USA, Australia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Serbia and Sweden attended the event.

The head of the Medical Quality Standards Department of Public Health and Reforms the Center of the Ministry of Health Billura Yusifova made presentation and gave detailed information to the participants about the existing state programs related to the medical provision of Azerbaijan population, clinical protocols and quality improvement and standardization through evidence-based medicine.
