Educational events held at Health Promoting Schools

Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan have organized educational events and competitions at full secondary schools No. 177, 149, 110 and 5.

The main purpose of the events was to inform pupils about importance of a healthy lifestyle, healthy nutrition, and physical activity, also, negative effects of harmful habits on human body, negative consequences of bad behavior among schoolchildren.

There were organized sport competitions dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National leader Heydar Aliyev. Besides, "Knowledge competition"s were held in order to raise awareness on hygiene rules and healthy lifestyle.

Participants were acquainted with educational materials prepared and published by PHRC. Medals and gifts were presented to the winners of the competition.
