PHRC representatives attend 1st International Child Congress
The 1st International Child Congress was held in Samsun/Turkey from 5 to 9 December 2018. The congress organized by E-Journal of Law and Marcony University brought together physician specialists, academics, educators, lawyers and other practitioners who would like to make contributions to the field. The main purpose of the congress was to discuss protection ways of children and their rights.
The head of the Project Coordination Department Sabina Babazade and head of Health policy and reforms department of the Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended the congress. Delivering presentation on “Azerbaijan experience in the area of child health and importance of parents’ awareness on protection of children's health”, representatives of PHRC underlined that, important measures have also been done to protect children's rights in our country.
Within the frame of the sessions, presentations of the reports entitled “Smartphone addiction in teens”, “School influence on children and parents”, "Innovation in nursing", "Children’s rights", "Protection of migrant children’s health" of the other countries representatives were also listened.
The congress concluded with exchanging of views regarding these issues.
