PHRC conducts educational meetings in military units

Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health conducted educational meetings in military units from 29 October to 7 November.

The meetings were organized according to the 1(5.1.8) point of the Action Plan of the Ministry of Health on implementation of the State Program on “Azerbaijani Youth in 2017-2021” approved by the Ministry of Health (№ 72, dated 23 October 2017).

Awareness raising meetings were conducted for officers, warrant officers, sergeants and soldiers, as well as medical personnel in military units of Barda and other surrounding areas.

The goal of the meetings was to prevent spread of drug and alcohol use, tobacco smoking and other negative addictions among the youth, as well as strengthen responsibility of youngsters for their own health.

PHRC experts Tofig Musayev and Rufat Rahimov delivered presentations on the relevant topics at the meetings.

Educational materials, designed and developed by PHRC were distributed among the youth at these interactive meetings.
