In the PHRC a Cooperation Agreement with the "Bilik" Fund signed

A Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Health Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) and the "Bilik" Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed on June 22, 2016.

The agreement is to ensure promotion of mutual efforts in the area of educating general public on healthy lifestyles and envisages further development of this cooperation for the next five years.

Under the Agreement health awareness raising activities (lectures, trainings, round table discussions etc.) on negative effects of early marriages and harmful habits, infectious and non-infectious diseases prevention and elimination of its risk factors, healthy lifestyle and healthy nutrition etc. will be organized. All these activities will be carried out in "Bilik" Houses of the Fund, in the facilities of city/regional educational institutions and shared with the public through the media.

PHRC Director Jeyhun Mammadov shared information about PHRC health awareness raising activities and stressed out their importance.The Director also expressed his satisfaction with the new possibilities for cooperation between the two organizations. 

Oktay Samadov, the Executive Director of the "Bilik" Fund thanked the PHRC team for the established bilateral cooperation and expressed his assurance that as a result of these collaborative efforts, the two organizations will be able to eliminate health related educational gaps among general public.
