Results of Health System Performance Assessment by PHRC revealed

On December 18, 2015 a round table on “Health System Performance Assessment” was held at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC). The aim of the event was to present the results of the project held by PHRC, as well as to provide an opportunity to share thoughts and views on the topic. The representatives from the Health Informatization Center, Information and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Health and PHRC participated in the event. 

At the meeting, it was stressed that indicators used for this assessment, were determined based on WHO recommendations. The analysis were conducted based on the data obtained from the State Statistical Committee and the Information and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Health. Also, a significance of the health reforms was underlined as well as a satisfactory level of access to healthcare services was reported.
