“Raising awareness on compulsory medical examination among school students” survey results released

On December 8, 2015 a round table discussion about the results of the survey conducted as a part of the joint project with the Ministry of Education “Raising awareness on medical examination among school students” was held at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC). The survey was conducted in 15 secondary schools in the city of Baku in late November and early December, present year. The awareness level of students in medical examination was assessed.

The teachers of the subject “Life Skills” in schools and school nurses participated in the round table discussion. The presenters brought attention to the significance of healthy life style and compulsory medical examination in protecting children’s health, early detection and effective treatment of diseases.

At the end, promo materials were distributed among the participants.
