Heart Failure Registry to be introduced in Azerbaijan

The first stage of the registry has been established at the Theraupetical Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University.

In November 2015, the new Heart Failure Registry (AFHR) was introduced in Azerbaijan. The registry has been established in cooperation with Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) and the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC).

The main goal of the the AFHR is to collect and analyze data from patients hospitalized for heart failure. It is expected that these data will be then utilized in development and implementation of short and long-term target programs and interventions on treatment, preventive measures and recovery.
