Neonatal resuscitation training held at PHRC

On November 12-13, 2015 a training course “Neonatal resuscitation” was held for antenatal care personnel at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC). This and further upcoming training courses are based on “Neonatal resuscitation” manual developed within the Neonatal Resuscitation Program by American Heart Association and American Pediatric Association.

The training was attended by antenatal care physicians from the Scientific-Research Institute of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Ministry of Health, the Scientific Research Pediatrics Institute, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev, National Perinatal Center and Central Clinic Hospital of the Ministry of Health.   

The training courses, led by the MOH Chief Neonatologist Dr. Rustam Huseynov, will be continued on November 24-25, December 8-9 and 15-16.
