Round table on “Detecting violence against children and youth and increasing the role of healthcare workers in counseling and mental health aid” held at PHRC

On November 6, 2015 a round table discussion on “Detecting violence against children and youth and increasing the role of healthcare workers in counseling and mental health aid” was held at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC). The purpose of the round table, jointly organized by the PHRC and “Reliable Future” Youth Organization, was to report the results of the survey “Managing health, social and psychological support for victims of domestic violence” and discuss about further activities in this field.

The representatives of the Ombudsman Office, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, heads of a number of public health centers and PHRC staff members attended the event.
