PHRC staff member attended international advocacy training on women, peace and security
As part of the Young Women’s Peace Academy project implemented by Kvinna till Kvinna, the second training session was held in Tbilisi, Georgia from 5 to 10 July, 2015. Young women from the South Caucasus and the Balkans participated in the Academy Module trainings. The Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC) staff member Rigina Bakhshaliyeva has attended the training.
The Academy participants acquired useful knowledge and skills in leadership, effective communication, advocacy, women’s participation in decision-making, gender equality, protection of women from violence, women’s rights protection and will be applied by the participants to design and implement small projects.
