The Public Health and Reforms center has started distribution of a “Clinical protocol on diagnosis and treatment of hemophilia” to appropriate medical institutions
The next clinical protocol developed at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC), has been approved by the board of the Ministry of Health by decision #1 dated January 19, 2015. “Clinical protocol on diagnosis and treatment of hemophilia” developed by leading local experts in this area is considered for hematologists and other healthcare providers. The clinical protocol targets a group of patients suffering from hemophilia, including children, teenagers and adults. The clinical protocol provides recommendations on application of the most up-to-date and evidence-based methods of diagnosis and treatment. It‘s aimed at improving of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of hemophilia through better quality of early diagnosis, enhancement of patients' quality of life and achievement of their adequate social adaptation. “Clinical protocol on diagnosis and treatment of hemophilia” provides physicians with recommendations on differential diagnosis between A and B forms of hemophilia, Von Willebrand disease which is very similar to hemophilia, application of methods of detecting and treating the disease based on advanced technologies. This protocol is made on the basis of the most reliable scientific information on efficiency of certain medical intervention. Recently, the distribution of “Clinical protocol on diagnosis and treatment of hemophilia” to the appropriate medical institutions has been started by PHRC.
