A training course on "Children's mandatory dispanserization and early detection and prevention of diseases at children" took place in Mingachevir
This pilot training was conducted by the Public Health and Reforms Center, Ministry of Health (PHRC) for 26 pediatricians working at Pediatric Polyclinic №1 and Polyclinic Department of "Mother and Child" Health Center in Mingachevir on the 5-7th of February 2015.
PHRC experts Nabil Seyidov and Irada Jafarova together with representatives of Azerbaijan State Institute of Improvement of Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev Matanat Qarakhanova and Nigar Hajıyeva conducted the training for primary healthcare providers responsible for dispanserization of children. Training materials were developed based on clinical protocols and quality standards on early detection and treatment of childhood diseases.
During the training such policy documents as "State Program on mandatory child dispanserization", "Guidelines on implementation of mandatory child dispanserization", "Quality Standards and scope of medical care for children passing throw dispensarization", "Guidelines of implementation of medical-sanitary measures for children who are sick or have risks of developing of illness”, organizational issues of mandatory child dispanserization based on methodical recommendations and clinical protocols developed by PHRC, as well as prevention, early detection and diagnosis of some diseases in the frame of dispanserization were presented.
This training is aimed at improvement of human resources in the state health facilities who implement the mandatory child dispanserization and is intended to reduce morbidity, disability and mortality among children.
