Educational event on "Be active, be healthy!" held

On December 15, 2023, Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health organized an educational event at secondary school No. 149 in Bina settlement.

The purpose of the event was to inform children about the health effects of a sedentary lifestyle, importance of physical activity, and to motivate them to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Head of the Monitoring and Analysis Department of the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health İnara Makayeva, deputy head of the Training-resource department Parvin Guliyeva and methodologist, doctor Sevinj Bagirova gave detailed information about the importance and types of physical activity.

Within the frame of the event, there was organized an interactive game and children splited into teams and competed in various sports.

At the end of the event, prizes, medals and various gifts were presented to the winning teams.
