PHRC hosts photo-exhibition and presentation of album-catalogue on “National leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan healthcare”

On May 25, 2023, photo-exhibition and presentation of album-catalogue devoted to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, outstanding politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev was held at the Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health. More than 50 photos depicting meetings of national leader Heydar Aliyev with health workers at health and medical institutions were shown at the exhibition.

In his opening speech, director of PHRC Gahraman Hagverdiyev said that, health workers always commemorate Heydar Aliyev, national leader of the Azerbaijani people, who  forever inscribed his name in in history with his rich life and activities with great respect and reverence: “National leader launched an important development initiatives for development of every field in Azerbaijan, but without a doubt, the main issue for him was the protection of the population's health, organization of medical services at a high level and improvement of demographic indicators of the Azerbaijani people. Under the leadership of the great leader, more than 15 laws that served to update our healthcare at the level of modern requirements and protect people's health were adopted.

Speaking about "Heydar Aliyev and healthcare" head of the Health communication department of PHRC Laura Guliyeva emphasized that, under the leadership of national leader, consistent and purposeful works were done in the healthcare system of the country, reforms were carried out and national programs were developed to prevent the spreading of diseases.

Deputy director of the Republican Center for AIDS Control of the Ministry of Health Sabina Babazade made a speech and noted that national leader treated the health of the younger generation with sensitivity and kindness and resolutely fought to improve the demographic indicators of our people.

Video prepared on the basis of photos of the great leader's visits to the opening ceremonies of the health and medical institutions was shown at the event. Health and medical workers shared their heartfelt words and commemorated the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev with respect and reverence.
