The most effective tool in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic is unity, solidarity and cooperation

The Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health says that civil solidarity, unity and cooperation demonstrated by various institutions and organizations play an important role in combating the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Supporting health workers and medical professionals, who are leading the way in this struggle and showing great self-sacrifice, means great attention and care.

The moral value of the support provided by Bolt Transport Company, which provides free services to 200 health workers and medical workers on duty during the special quarantine days during April, is very high. At the same time, the gift of 1000 liters of 96% ethyl alcohol by "Baku Kimya" LLC for use in health and medical institutions is a good example of unity and solidarity. In order to inform the population about COVID-19, educational materials prepared and published by PHRC were distributed to our citizens in cooperation with the supermarket "Bravo” chain, and leaflets with important recommendations were placed on the walls of the market.

Welcoming all these steps, we declare that in our country, as well as all over the world, a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection that threatens the health of the population can be effectively combated only through national unity and solidarity. Today, the activities of each of us must serve to protect the safety of both our ordinary citizens and our health workers.
