PHRC launches new “Şəkərli diabet” mobile application

Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan launched a new “Şəkərli diabet” (Diabetes) mobile application.

The application aims to maintain health and normal blood sugar of people with diabetes and generally increase public awareness with the aim of preventing diabetes.

The mobile app provides useful information on diabetes (various types, risks, complications of diabetes, use of insulin and etc.), reminder for the timely intake of medications and bread units (BU) calculator.

Note that, not only patients with diabetes but also those who constantly regulate calories, carbohydrate metabolism and control their weight can use the program.
