Press conference and round table on European Immunization Week held

Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) co-organized a press conference and round table on European Immunization Week on April 24, 2019.

The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Scientific Research Institute of Pediatrics, Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors, State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance, Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, Analytical Expertise Center, Health Ministries’ Country Coordinating Commission on International Health Programs in Azerbaijan, UN agencies (UNICEF, UNFPA), as well as deputy director of PHRC Rahib Mammadov, head of Medical quality standards department Shahla Ismayilova.

It was noted that, the aim of the European Immunization Week held on April 24-30, is to increase awareness on the benefits of the vaccination.
