Tartar hosts zone meeting within the framework of the 8th Azerbaijani Youth Forum

On October 17, 2018, was held zone meeting within the framework of the 8th Azerbaijani Youth Forum in Tartar. The event held at Tartar district Culture house was attended by the representatives of various government bodies, district authorities, youth from the Economic region of Upper Garabagh.

Before the start of the meeting, Azerbaijani militaries demonstrated special preparation at the central square of Tartar District Executive Authority. Opened the meeting with introductory speech head of Tartar District Executive Authority Mustagim Mammadov spoke about unique role of young people in the development of society.

Following the statements by the other officials, methodist-physician of the Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan Latafat Dadashova made a presentation on “Health protection of the youth, prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and latest technologies in the medicine”.

She underlined that, prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases, also known as chronic diseases is one of the key priorities of the healthcare system in the world, including in Azerbaijan.

At the end of the event, there was conducted exchange of opinions on promotion of healthy lifestyle and questions of the participants were answered.
