Training on “First-aid treatment” organized in SOS Children's Village
On May 30, 2018 was held training on the “First-aid treatment” with support of the Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organization of Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in SOS Children's Village.
Specialist on emergency and urgent medical aid, an author of textbook on “The first aid” Malik Abbasov delivered lecture covering first-aid treatment theme to the parent and teacher audience.
He noted that, it should be taken immediate measures to prevent serious accidents and avoid unpleasant consequences (in the workplace, at home or in a public space) until help arrives. According to M.Abbasov, that’s why it is very important for as many people as possible to have at least a basic knowledge of first aid. The specialist brought to participants’ attention information on methods of artificial respiration and closed chest cardiac massage rules by using a special dummy.
Listeners also were informed on measures taken during fainting, dislocation, burn and injuring of blood vessels, muscles and bones caused by different kinds of traumatic events.
Theoretical and visual presentation of the expert has caused great interest of audience and come to an end with useful exchange of views.
