PHRC was represented at the "V International Public Health Management Development Program" in India
A training by the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Program (ITEC) on "V International Public Health Management Development Program" was held in Chandigarh, India on March 20-24, 2018.
Shahla Mirzazadeh, a physician-methodologist of the Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of Ministry of Health was delegated to Chandigarh, India in order to attend the training.
Within the framework of the training, a series of trainings and team works on the basics of public health management, importance of e-health, formation of health policy in public health, leadership in health, basics of team work and project management and development of an action plan on health management were held.
The five-day training covered effective methods of solving existing public health problems and priority issues on improving the potential workforce in public health. At the end of the program, the participants ontained the V International Public Health Management Development Program Certificate and established a basis for future communication exchange.
The representative of the PHRC, who shared with other participants information about the beauty, national-moral values and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan at the cultural-enlightening "Country Presentation" night organized within the training program, was presented the special Best Cultural Performance and Best Selfie awards.
