The Public Health and Reforms Center conducted an event for ASAN volunteers on the theme of "Tobacco is a mortal danger"

On February 13, 2017 the Public Health and Reform Center of the Ministry of Health conducted an educational seminar on the topic of "Tobacco is a mortal danger" at the "ASAN xidmət" center №1 in Baku city.

Shahla Mirzazade, also a PHRC staff member, delivered an educational report to ASAN volunteers, spoke about the harm that tobacco exposes to the human body, and its negative impact on both physical and psychological health. The reporter brought to the attention of training participants information about the problems that tobacco potentially create for people.

Further, the seminar continued in an interactive format. In the end the expert provided information to the event participants on methods of combating tobacco use and on the experience of the PHRC in this field.
