Training on neonatal resuscitation have ended
The training on "Neonatal Resuscitation" for neonatologists and pediatricians providing antenatal care have come to an end. A total of 60 physicians working in 30 regional maternity hospitals attended the 2-day training held at the Public Health and Reform Center (PHRC) under the Ministry of Health. Upon successful completion of the training, the participants were awarded certificates.
The purpose of the trainings, which took place in October and November 2016, was to increase the knowledge and skills of medical personnel working in obstetrical institutions for the provision of urgent medical care to newborns, providing a specialized healthcare for infants in situations with limited access to special equipment and devices. Trainings, organized in collaboration with the Scientific-Research Institute of Pediatrics named after K.Farajeva, were conducted by the methodologist of the Training Resources Department of the PHRC Dr Nakhida Mahmudova.
