The second joint event was held by PHRC and the Knowledge Foundation

On October 19, 2016 the Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) of Ministry of Health and the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a joint event within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement signed on June 22, 2016. The event was conducted at the Lyceum for young soldiers.

The PHRC doctor-methodologist Rufat Rahimov informed the young soldiers about healthy lifestyle, harmful habits negatively affecting the health and discouraged them from those habits. In addition, PHRC developededucation materials were distributed among the audience.

This event was held in accordance with the Ministry of Health's Activity Plan on implementation of “Strategy oncombating non-infectious diseases in Azerbaijan for 2015-2020” and was organized to raise public on dangers of tobacco and other risk factors.
