PHRC held a blood donation campaign

On March 9, 2016 the Public Health and Reforms Centre (PHRC) of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Central Blood Bank of the Scientific Research Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion named after B.A.Eyvazova organized the blood donation campaign.

The campaign took place with the active participation of both PHRC management, and its staff members, who donated blood after the examination of their health by the health care professionals. This campaign gave us opportunity once again draw public attention to the support of people suffering from hereditary blood diseases, including thalassemia.

The blood collected during the campaign will be provided to the blood bank to be used in the treatment of children suffering from thalassemia.
