PHRC experts delivered trainings at Young Blood Donors Winter School
On February 19-21 2016, the “Young Blood Donors Winter School – Jalilabad -2016” project was held in the Heydar Aliyev Center, Jalilabad rayon. The project, held under the auspices of the Blood Donors Public Union and the Azerbaijan Thalassemia Federation and with the support of the Executive Power of Jalilabad rayon, the Central Blood Bank and the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC), aimed at enlightening young people about blood donation, as well as encouraging active participation of the youth in voluntary blood donation in the country.
As part of the project, PHRC experts Shahla Mirzazadeh and Tofig Musayev delivered trainings on healthy lifestyle. During the interactive-based trainings, young donors were grouped into teams to develop proposals on the improvement of blood donation in the country. At the end of the project, the participants were awarded certificates.
