PHRC implements a project on healthcare management and provision of training for healthcaremanagers

Beginning from July 2015 the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health (PHRC) jointly with the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) has started a project “Healthcare management and provision of training for healthcare managers”. The project is being implemented in accordance with the point 6 of the paragraph 3.1 of the Strategy and Action Plan of the Ministry of Health of  Republic of Azerbaijan.

Applying international practices and in cooperation with AMU the project intends to develop training materials and curriculum on Healthcare Management for residents. To develop the training materials and curriculum experts from PHRC and AMU have been invited, national and international best practices used. Based on these practices a draft version of healthcare management curriculum has been released, a list of required literature recommended by PHRC and AMU experts.

By the end of the year the final version of the curriculum and first study guideline on Healthcare Management are planned to be designed and released.
