PHRC organized a blood donation event

On March 6, 2015 the Public Health and Reforms Centre of the Ministry of Health (PHRC) in cooperation with the Scientific-Research Institute of Haematology and Transfusion named after B. A. Eyvazov organized a blood donation event.

The main purpose of the campaign was to help people who suffer from inherited blood disorders and draw general public attention to this issue.

The event was appreciated among PHRC staff members who voluntarily donated blood upon their medical examination.

The workers of Health Informatization Center also got involved in this campaign. All the donated blood will be transferred to the Blood Bank to help in treatment of children with thalassemia.
