Сompetition on promotion of physical activity held among pupils

On December 30, 2023, an educational event on “Be active, be healthy” and competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev were held by  the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan at Health Promoting School No. 5. Purpose of the event was to inform children about the importance of physical activity and encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle. Head of the Monitoring and analysis department of PHRC Inara Makayeva and methodologist Sevinj Bagirova gave detailed information about the importance and types of physical activity. During an interactive event, there were organized games and students were divided into teams and competed in various sports. At the end of the event, winning teams were awarded with prizes, medals and various gifts.
