PHRC volunteers were awarded with certificates

On September 19, 2019, was held a meeting with volunteers at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health.Shahla Mirzazade, head of Health Policy and Planning department of PHRC, praised the enthusiasm and initiative of volunteers during their time at PHRC. She noted that during three months young people actively participated in public health projects: “Volunteers in the educational campaign under the motto“Tütün çəkmə, şəkil çək!”(”Don’t smoke, take a picture“) dedicated to World Smoking Day on May 31, 2019 also participated in the training "A health promoting  Schools", The1st  Republican Volunteer Forum on Healthy Nutrition and other events. They contributed to the work carried out in Azerbaijan in the field of public health protection and disease prevention, and gained valuable knowledge and new skills in their future activities.

Congratulating the volunteers, Sabina Babazade head of the project coordination department of PHRC thanked every young people who joined the PHRC volunteer program, for their support in the field of public health and she added that believes moreyoung people will be included in the number of health volunteersin future.
